File Formats
The logo you get from Breff™ Logo Design will be available in both grey scale and colored version in the following formats:
eps
Encapsulated PostScript or EPS format helps you to make alterations in the size of your logo without affecting its print quality. Since it is actually a PostScript file format, it is the most versatile file format that is available. For high-resolution output EPS provides the least hassles and the best quality. EPS has actually become a standard for high-resolution printing.
jpg & gif
GIF and JPG file formats are best for online publishing or internet usage. Although other formats for online publishing are in development, at present GIF and JPG are the standards. These formats are not suggested to be used for printing.
psd
This is Photoshop’s native format. PSD is used if you want to maintain a version of your logo that remains editable. Through PSD the layers, transparency, adjustment layers, masks, clipping paths, layer styles, blending modes, vector text and shapes, etc. of your logo can be preserved.
ai
AI file format provides you with the original artwork. This format is usually needed for promotional materials and printed items. It is also the format you can manipulate should you ever need to make alterations in your logo.
What can you do with these formats?
The convenience of having your logo in these formats is that you can take it to other service to create stationery designs, brochure designs and website designs.
